1. Overview

The American Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research. The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, fairness, confidentiality, and objectivity throughout the review process.

2. Type of Peer Review

The journal operates a Double-Blind Peer Review system.

  • The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

  • This ensures impartial evaluation and minimizes bias related to authorship, institution, nationality, or gender.

3. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the Editorial Office to assess:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Originality and novelty of the work

  • Compliance with submission guidelines

  • Language quality and structure

  • Plagiarism and ethical compliance

Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be rejected without external review.

4. Reviewer Selection

8. Revision Process

Authors

The peer review process is conducted in a transparent, unbiased, and confidential manner. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, relevance, and ethical compliance.

12. Appeals and Complaints

  • Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a reasoned request to the Editorial Office.

  • Appeals are reviewed by a senior editor or independent editorial board member.

  • The decision after appeal is final.

13. Acknowledgment of Reviewers
